Self Drive
With a full complement of passengers this is by far the cheapest way to travel to the Alps. It also gives you the freedom to explore the area and perhaps break your journey and see some other regions of France too. If you decide to drive direct it is unlikely to take you more than 10 hours from the channel ports.

Flights
Flights: There are several flights each day to Geneva from many UK airports. Prices vary from £40.00 to over £200.00 return.

Please note that we do not take payment for flights ourselves. However, by ensuring that you are booking with an ATOL holder you can be assured that your flights are financially protected.
Recently EasyJet has introduced services to Geneva from Luton, Liverpool, and Gatwick. They operate a direct sales system to keep prices as competitive as possible; one cannot book any of their flights through a travel agent. Car Hire

Clients considering hiring a car at Geneva Airport are advised to rent a vehicle with French registration. There are severe restrictions on the use of Swiss hire cars in France. Most of the well known rental companies have both Swiss and French vehicles at Geneva.

Passports

Please ensure you have a passport that is valid for the duration of your holiday. If you should need to apply for a passport we would suggest that you do so in good time. Holders of UK passports do not require a visa to holiday in France; holders of other passports are requested to check their visa requirements with the French Consulate.
