Chalet les Chouettes
Chalet les Chouettes Petit - Châtel 74390 Châtel, France.

The chalet was built in 1993 and extended in 2004 and 2005. Traditional in style yet with modern comforts, it is situated on the south facing hillside at Petit-Châtel (C on the map) with splendid views both across the village towards Linga and down the valley to Chapelle d’Abondance.
The chalet has five large comfortable bedrooms for guests with plenty of bath / shower rooms and WC’s. Some bedrooms have south-facing balconies and three have en-suite facilities. Autumn 2005 we installed a fitness room, sauna and hydrotherapy shower.
All the bedrooms, unless only occupied by children, have tea / coffee making facilities so guests can enjoy their early morning cuppa as early as they like.
Breakfast is served around 8 o’clock or you can have it later on a self-service basis. Cereals, fruit juice, eggs, bread, croissants, jam, honey, tea and coffee are all available.

We are pleased to be able to offer a bed & breakfast option in the summer season.
This is becoming increasingly popular as it gives more flexible timetable options. Guests can then eat their main meal of the day wherever and whenever suits them best. There is also the option of enjoying the occasional evening meal in the chalet for a supplementary charge provided the request is made at least one day in advance.

Once a week clients will be taken up into the mountains to have a barbecue in the most breathtaking surroundings. |
Self CateringHave the freedom to ‘do your own thing’, to eat what and when you like. If you don’t mind doing the ‘domestic bit’ to get the most economical holiday possible then self-catering is the answer. The supermarkets in Châtel are very reasonably priced and have a large selection of both the usual and the unusual. When you first arrive there will be a ‘welcome pack’ waiting for you, containing bread, butter, milk, soup, wine etc. to start you off.
Bedding (blankets or duvets and pillows) are provided in all accommodation. Bed linen is not included with self-catered holidays but can be hired by clients from local shops when they arrive if they would prefer not to bring their own. However, guests should note that it is often difficult to hire duvet covers. Self-catering visitors will also need to bring towels and tea towels.
